ARCHIE COMES TO THE NEW YORK CITY-CON
MAMARONECK, NY – February 13, 2006 – Archie Comics is happy to announce, our Chairman and Co-Publisher Michael Silberkleit, has been selected to be a Guest of Honor at the New York Comic-Con. New York Comic-Con is a new trade and consumer event for comics, games, anime and other related industries and will take place in New York City at the Jacob K. Javits Center, February 24th – 26th.
Michael Siberkleit will be taking part in the State of the Industry Panel, Friday, February 24, 2006 at 1:00pm along with panelists, Paul Levitz – DC Comics, Joe Quesada – Marvel Entertainment, Bill Schanes – Diamond Comic Distributors, and Stuart Levy – TokyoPop. The panel will feature top comic industry leaders come together to discuss the current state of the industry and make predictions for the future.
Then on February 26, 2006 at 1:00pm, Michael Siberkleit will be leading a panel, Archie Comics, how a 65 year old humor comic book publishing company has remained contemporary over all these years . Please come and hear all about Archie Comics and meet our editorial staff and many of our writers and artists. There will be a question and answer session with our panelists as well.
