My strongest Chao (Mystic) is an age 3 Chao and he hasn’t changed since age 1. Do you think he’ll ever change?
At that point, it won’t change on its own until it dies/reincarnates at age five. If you want it to change its appearance, you have to make it do so by giving it chaos drives of a single type.
