Egg colours come up at random, so it’s impossible to tell exactly how many emblems are needed. Keep in mind that every file will be missing two or three randomly-selected egg colours, so you may have to trade to get one. However, if you want a chao to look somewhat like Metal Sonic, you’d be better off with a sapphire jewel egg rather than a shiny blue.
