Okay, I heard that sonic has another name, that is olgilvee (Or something to that effect) isn’t his real name Sonic? what’s going on?
It depends on the version of Sonic. Each Sonic universe is different. In the Archie comics (for the series from 1993 that is still being published; not the Sonic X that just started), Ken Penders revealed years ago on his message board that he gave Sonic the name Olgilvie Maurice Hedgehog in response to comments on Knuckles’ name and in reference to the story he wrote back in Sonic The Hedgehog #53. That is currently Sonic’s official name for Archie and ONLY Archie. Other versions of Sonic, either have his real name as Sonic or haven’t touched the issue. –True Red
