Hi, I want to know why some of the sonic characters wear gloves. Just why do they always wear gloves? The characters never take them off. And another thing, on Knuckles' gloves he has spikes. Are those spikes on his real hands or are they just made on his gloves?

1) how can knuckles and julie-su be around the same age? knuckles is 8 generations down from tobor. julie-su is 2 generations down from moritori rex. but motori rex and tobor are around the same age. doesn't seem to make sense.
