    Sonic #142 CoverSONIC THE HEDGEHOG #142

    Written by Romy Chacon and Ken Penders, art by Art Mawhinney, Jim Amash, Steve Butler.

    "The Original Freedom Fighters" Part 1 of 2: Not only does the tyranny of Dr. Robotnik go back as far as anyone on Mobius can remember... but there have always been heroes to fight that evil. This is the story of those heroes... Sonic's heroes... who gave rise to Sonic and the Freedom Fighters as we know them today. "Moment of Truth": the latest installment of the popular "Mobius 25 Years Later" series-within-a-series. Lobar and Rotor, the greatest scientific minds of the future, present King Sonic and The Guardian Knuckles their solution to save Mobius: they must return to the past! There's a catch, however: in order for Mobius to be saved, there's no guarantee that the lives they have led will unfold the same as before.

    STOP CONTACTING ANCHOR BAY

    Kanshisha of The SatAM Network posted this on his site and FUS:

    I got up this morning to recieve an email from Anchor Bay webmaster. Not sure how he got my site address since I never posted on the forum yet. but anyways. he told me and I quote.

    "We do not have the UK DVD rights to SatAM. Can you please stop the continual bombardment of our forums and PMs with these requests? It is extremely annoying."

    He also said if I know who handles the SatAM right to let him know. So I gave him alot of information about that and who to contact and stuff so please don't go emailing him about who has the rights and stuff. We don't want him to get even more annoyed with more emails of the same stuff and probably half of it is wrong information. So please stop posting on the forum because the more you annoy them the less of a chance we have to get it back. But if they are interested in getting the right like he sounded we may have a chance. So please stop bothering the man.

    Well... looks like FUS and TSN were heard... a bit too loud though. I didn't think we were being annoying, but... like I said we were heard. All we can do now is watch and wait and see if they will release it. The ball is in their court, let's keep our fingers crossed.

    Also if a mod or whatever could edit the previous post by me and take out the links so we don't annoy them even more, please. That'd be great ^_^;

    Want to see SatAM on DVD? Here’s how to help

    As you know, Disney is being stupid and not allowing DiC or any company to release/air SatAM here in the US because they suck. Anyway, one of the fans (Sonicus Prime) suggested asking Anchor Bay to release SatAM, as they've all ready released several SU DVDs that have sold successfully. Anchor Bay is known for listening to their fans and even has a suggestions forum on their site. I don't know the whole history, but apparently they've also had fans of other shows they've released create extras. Since I, at FUS have some model sheets and what not and so does the SatAM Network, we could probably help in that department ;)

    Anyway, we need to let them know there IS a fan base out there so sign up on their forums and help us out by posting in this topic that Sonicus Prime made:

    Now before ANYONE tries to complain about how they won't be released in America (because they won't as DiC doesn't have the rights nor does anyone else) I don't want to hear it. This is a big chance for FUS. Anchor Bay would probably release all the episodes on DVD, and no matter what country it is, it would truely be a huge victory. A lot of UKers didn't whine when the original DVD was only released in in the states, in fact several of them order it from Amazon. So please, if you're a SatAM fan, no matter where you live, help us out. If you don't help out because you don't care that it's only in the UK then you suck and you are not a true SatAM fan.

    Sonic X Mini-DVD for Sale June 15th

    TVShowsOnDVD.com has reported on a June 15th release date of four mini-DVDs by Funimation, each priced at $3.99 and containing a single episode of one of four shows: TMNT (the new one), Dragonball GT, Yu-Gi-Oh, and our friend Sonic X. The episode each DVD contains is not an exclusive one, though, simply one picked for promoting the series. Look for these at Target stores and 7-11s, and other similar retailers.

    You can read the original story and see an example shot of the TMNT disc here.
