    Can you tell me where I can purchase Sonic figurines (bendable or solid) for my son who is six years old and loves Sonic. I’ve checked Toys R Us, Target, Gamestop. I live in Houston and would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

    Your best bet is ordering them online from DieCast Express which has been selling both the Sonic & Shadow SA2: Battle figures by JoyRide Studios. While JoyRide does name stores to check on their site, they’re still pretty hard to find. –True Red

    In Sonic Adventure 2:Battle, each character has a theme song. I played the hero side, got to Eggman sending the Egg Golem after Sonic, and when that happened, I heard lyrics from Eggman’s theme that weren’t on the song in the sound test. This has also ocurred with Knuckles and Rouge. Is there a way to unlock the full versions?

    The full songs aren’t available in Sound Test, and you can’t unlock them. Occasionally, however, the full song will play in certain cutscenes. If you want the full versions, you can buy the soundtrack online.

    Dear Sonic HQ, On the newly re-built site, sonicunderground.net, it states in an article by Ken Penders that there will be a new Sonic Show. I was wondering could you folks clear that statement as lies or truth?

    If people would read the news page & the news archives, the existence of a new Sonic cartoon (specifically from Japan) has been known since at least May this year. The fact that another cartoon MIGHT come out is sort of old news as that has been attempted ever since SU came out, but obviously nothing has come from those attempts so far. If this current attempt is going to be different is anyone’s guess until something else is said. –True Red

    In the sonic 3 ice cap zone it had a preety phat track to it. In the pc version it got changed to a barney-type-holly-jollyness crap. was there problems in the tranfer or what? this will be my last question i hope(you do too). Thanks.

    S&K Collection used MIDI’s instead of the Genesis musics, and some things are hard to recreate in that format, so they made the new musics.

    In SA2Battle How do you use the mystic melody?

    You need to be near a shrine to use it. If you’re close enough to a shrine and have that character’s Mystic Melody, it should pop up in the action window on the upper-right (and if not, just hit Y until “Mystic Melody” appears). Just press B to activate it.

    I was unable to find the answer to this question in the software’s liturature and was also unsuccessful in this sites FAQ’s 1)Sonic PC CD, any attempt to go to fullscreen mode causes the program to crash. I have tried variations from 640X480X256 to 1024X768X32bit and operating systems 98 to XP Will monitor for answers Leo T

    The game runs on 256 colors only. Sonic CD also can’t work on Windows XP because it doesn’t like DOS. Though a Windows program, it could still require some DOS info. In which case, it’d mess up the program, for full screen mode that is. Why it’d not work on 9x is beyond me… you should probibly keep it in window mode.

    Is the Marble Garden from Sonic 3 like a good/bad future for the Marble Garden in Sonic 1, or did Sonic Team just forget that Marble Garden was the name for the zone in Sonic 1 when they were making the zone 3 in Sonic 3?PPPPPPLLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEE answer my question.

    Marble Garden is only in Sonic 3, while the one in the first game is simply called Marble Zone.

    How do I send you my Sonic fan comic? It is quiet large as a file and not quiet finihsed yet but when it is I would like to have it hosted on your site? Also, how do I get the rings in the Special Zones in Sonic Advance?

    1) On the fan comic, you’d have to get in contact with me (True Red) and Vec on that via email.

    2) Getting the rings in the Special Stages takes practice. You have to shift the character down, up, left and right in order to touch them. It’s not easy, and you have to avoid the bombs.

    How does chao become older in age I have a hero chao and he never seems to get older? thanks.

    Chao age as time passes. Approximately 3-5 hours of gameplay is about equal to one chao year. Keep in mind that time only passes for the chao if you’re in the garden; it won’t age while you play through the levels.

I’m making a pitiful attempt to start a Julie-Su shrine that actually makes some semblance of sense…but I can’t find ANY comprehensive info on the net, and I missed quite a bit of the comic series, too much to rely on what I know. Are there any websites that you know of that have indepth-character info…or are you guys going to update the profiles section any time soon? Arigato.

    No, sorry, I don’t know any sites that can provide what you’re looking for if you can’t find the info from search engines. I am, along with the other profilers, concentrating on those characters (and universes) not profiled yet and those already profiled are not having any major updates unless something drastic happens to them worth mentioning. Julie-Su, in particular, wouldn’t qualify for that as things stand right now. –True Red

    I just want to ask, how do you get a chao to live three lives? Thanks.

    When a chao reaches age five, it goes into a cocoon. Depending on how it’s been treated during its life, it will either be reborn as a baby (keeping its name, sometimes a few animal parts, and ten percent of its previous stats) or die completely and never return. The first occurs if you’ve treated the chao well; it will go into a pink cocoon and come back as an egg. The latter happens if you’ve mistreaded your chao (ie, beating or throwing it often); it will go into a grey cocoon and disappear. If you continue to treat your chao well, it can reincarnate as many times as you want.

    I was wondering why the heck there was a Sonic Adventure ”limited edition” and regular edition. Could you point out a few differences for me? thanx

    SA LE is the original Japanese version of SA released as a demo only playable in game stores (such as Toys R Us and EB) prior to the US Dreamcast launch. It has Internet connection disabled, and English text, as well as Sonic Team USA’s beginnings of glitch fixes. SA (US) was rebranded Sonic Adventure International with Sonic Team USA’s bug fixes, in Japan.
