The individual Mega Mack figures form together to reveal Megatox, an old enemy of Sonic’s. Megatox had been growing for years after Sonic first beat him, increasing in strength every second, so once he bursts out of the factory he could destroy the Emerald Hill Zone. But first he wants to destroy Sonic, and every time he attacks him Sonic becomes more and more poisoned. Sonic gets one chance to destroy him before he can change back into a liquid form knocking him unconscious so he could be cleaned up and out of the Chemical Plant Zone for good.

Tails has sprained his tails so is told to lay off the flying for a few days just when Windy Wallis returned in a large blimp to get revenge for her last defeat. Tails tries to go fight her but his bi-plane’s been clamped, meaning he has to use a helicopter created by Roger Bodge. But like all of Roger Bodge’s creations the helicopter goes wrong and crashes into the blimp, causing it to explode.

Amy and Tekno have been captured and are taken in for questioning about an alien invasion Colonel Granite thinks they’re planning. While Professor Cratermass is accused of plot for world domination. Tekno manages to use one of her explosive earrings to help them escape then the three take the space ship back to the lab where the girls get transported back to Mobius. But Professor Cratermass deletes the program before it can be used again, which isn’t possible without Tekno’s input.
