Sonic the Comic – fifteen years old!

Sonic the Comic has reached its fifteen anniversary - as well as Sonic the Comic Online's 5th and Nigel Kitching's birthday! To celebrate, Sonic the Comic Online has released a special with multiple posters, a new strip and randomly-loading variant covers.

Meanwhile, grand old Humes Nigel Kitching, Richard Elson, Nigel Dobbyn and Mick McMahon are currently involved in the independent title Bulletproof. Elson's art also appears in this week's Judge Dredd strip in 2000AD (and regularly in 2000AD), while Lew Stringer continues working for Viz, Toxic! and Image's Elephantmen. Former script Hume Mark Millar and editor Andy Diggle... well, you can those ones out for yourself, boomers!

    Alternate Knuckles?

Ive read about a few alternate Knuckles that ive never even scene before (or herd of in refrence) and was wondering if these were true alternates, or just made up. One thing was a possible 'future'. Brass Knuckles? The second wasnt given a name, but was said to be a cheif of police in the same universe as Sally McAcorn. The last was somthing about a giant mutant with three spikes on his hands.

    Sonic Unleashed

It's confirmed by Sega Europe, Sonic will be returning to all the Next-Gen consoles (and PlayStation 2) with a new game.

Titled Sonic Unleashed, the released (and previously leaked) screenshots and video show promise, similar to the teasers for the ill-fated Sonic The Hedgehog (also known as Sonic Next-Gen), you get a familiar feel of Sonics' recent Nintendo DS games, which have been quite successful, as the game is often viewed side on, a sort of 2D view of 3D, and demonstrates a full on running session through the majority of the level shown. At times the view switches to behind Sonic, and you continue to guide him, this view of the action reminiscent of Sonic Wildfire on the Nintendo Wii.

Sonic RPG revealed in Nintendo Power magazine!

Nintendo Power magazine has a big cover feature on Bioware's eagerly awaited Sonic RPG for the Nintendo DS, which is now titled Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. There are 11 playable characters, with Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, Shadow and Big the Cat being the ones already known. Eggman/Robotnik will be in it, but not as the main villain (supposedly).

Bioware, if you don't already know, are the talented creators of Baldur's Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect amongst others, and are well known for never having made a game that was less than a classic - Sonic's in very capable hands with them.

    Cream in the Comics

I am a big cream fan and I just stated getting into the comics, so I want to know, why hasn't Cream the Rabbit made an appearance in the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series (Well, other than the Archie Sonic X comics), and if they're ever planing to include her at all?
