The second annual Sonic Comic Convention (SCC or SVTcc as it’s commonly called) will take place December 24th, 2003 – less than TWO days away!
“We promised to put on a better show, and I think that’s what we’re going to do!”
With the re-schedulings that delayed the convention for more than three months, SCC looks like it’s finally ready to show it’s pretty self off at an end-of-year holiday treat! The future of SCC after 2003 seems secure, however it will be something rather different in 2004.

Source: SonicVerse ComicsThe Sonic Comic Convention 2003 will mark SVT’s second annual online convention. As successful as it was last year, the convention is poised to be an outlet for all aspiring fancomic artists and wannabe Spaz artists. Seeing familiar artwork from Rafael Valencia, SVT’s Ian Potto, Vanessa Zucker, Chalcara, Sapphire Luna, and more, it was a phenominal event for fans of fancomics and creators alike.
The year 2004 will be different however. Yours truly (SA, Sonic Adventurer)will be moving on to “bigger and better” things. SVT is under new management, with Rocky Racoon as it’s newest president. SA took SVT through a four-year run, hopping from unsteady server to unsteady server, and now firmly rests in the loving arms of Shayne Thames (SonicAnime.net). With SVT’s future assured, I have decided to go and start a more original non-Sonic comic website. Originally, this was intended to be the last SCC event, however Rocky is working hard to fill my shoes and promises the convention will continue running. So for those who enjoyed last year’s convention, I encourage you to come and see my last one, but come again the following year to see how Rocky throws this party – I know I will be there.
