IGN.com offers a very tantalizing clip of the game in motion with Sonic/Tails/Knuckles. Honestly, this game can't arrive soon enough!

Rlan was kind enough to zip up some new Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Pinball Party screenshots.

A few things to note about Pinball Party -
Lots of new screenies!!! The NiGHTS boards looks very pretty. There seem to be more than one board per game which IMO is a plus. Two Nights boards are shown here as well as two Sonic boards and one Samba board. there also seems to be a tournament option as well. The Tiny Chao Garden is accessible from these screenshots. There also seems to be a Memory game and a "Sonic Roulette" game as well. The minigame section here is hosted by Cream and Cheese too.
As far as DX goes - same ol same stuff. Newer screens of stuff we hadnt seen previously, but I will say that in these shots the characters don't look as "super shiny plastic" as they did before.

We brought you last year's Sonic Comic Convention, showing off many talented artists who branded together to make this online event possible. You had the chance to look at many Sonic fan comics such as Other-M, the premieres of Ultimate Sonic AND 3B, Sonic::Epilogue, A Bright and Shiny Future, Shadow and Light, and Sonic HQ & Agnes Studio's very own Butterflies. You saw who won, then you went home, happy.
Get ready for a better show...
The Sonic Comic Con 2003 will open August 20th and will run for two weeks, approximately. Also, there is a now a new way to get there:
www.sonicverseteam.com/comiccon
The Sonic Comic Con will feature a host/hostess from now on. Each character will be related to Sonic in some way through the comic books, both fanmade, Archie and maybe even Fleetway.
Details will develop soon, but if you would like more information, or begin registering early, send an e-mail to: admin@sonicverseteam.com

From Gamers.com:
In another surprising turn, Namco has withdrawn its offer to merge with Sega, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reports today. After Sega was unable to give a specific answer to its offer, Namco has dropped its proposal and Sega has announced that merger talks have concluded.
At the same time, of course, Sega officially announced that it had also broken off its merger negotiations with Sammy. It appears that Sega would have continued to consider Namco's offer, but Namco, which had asked for an answer by the end of the week, apparently considered that response unsatisfactory.
Namco said that it may consider a merger in the future at Sega's instigation, but Sega responded that it will not pursue such a course. Thus, it appears that Sega will no longer merge with anyone, at least in the near term. At a press conference announcing Sega's current course, president Hideki Sato declined to comment on any other potential future deals -- including a rumored capital investment by Electronic Arts.

GameSpot recently put up this article... it shows a fairly good opinion of the game. In fact, it seems that all they feel is off right now is the graphics (surprise, surprise...).
Anyway, LOADS of new screens, including a few from the Chao Garden (Mystic Ruins one)! Check it out.
Sonic Spinball has been released on RealOne arcade. You can download it for free (for one hour), and the full version costs $14.99. Sonic 3D (most likely the Genesis version) will also be released in May 2003, according to Sega's RealOne page.
It seems that the option to lock onto Sonic 2 and 3 was not present in the RealOne version of Sonic & Knuckles, as this information was just copied off the box sleeve onto the information page, and not actually present in the game.
The palmtop Sega games, including Mean Bean Machine and the 8-bit Sonic the Hedgehog, will now be available for download on Zire 71 and Tungsten C palmtops, in addition to the Tungsten T.
