Its the Sonic Fangaming event of the year! S.A.G.E, the online Sonic Amateur Games Expo is an event which allows all Sonic fangamers from their communities to show off their hard work and creativity in an online 'expo' or sorts.
This year, original games are also featured, as long as they were influenced by Sonic games.

S.A.G.E commences at some stage on Monday 16th September. Only a weekend away! This year, I have been put in command of the event, and I have pulled out all the stops to make it one of the most innovative and entertaining online events yet.
This year has seen the introduction of S.A.G.E mascot characters for instance:

IN previous years there have been many online chats, SAGEcasts (online radio shows from SAGE visitors and staff) and of course, many game demo's to download. In my opinion, a few of the current best fangames actually eclipse Sonic Advance in playability and graphics. They truly are amazing!
Anyway, basically, theres the hype, take it or leave it :P

IGNCube has posted a list of the games Sega has confirmed for the Tokyo Game Show. Both the Sonic Mega Collection and Sonic Advance 2 will definitely be presented.

Sega of Japan reveals that both games will be available on the same day.
Sega of Japan has announced that both Sonic Mega Collection for the GameCube and Sonic Advance 2 for the Game Boy Advance will be available on December 19 in Japan. Sonic Mega Collection includes several classic Sonic the Hedgehog games, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Spinball, and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Sonic Advance 2 lets players assume the role of Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles as they travel through several new worlds.
