IGNCube has posted new information about the Sonic Mega Collection. There ARE some extras besides just the games themselves. The game includes a massive collection of high-res zoomable art from the entire series, including boxes and manuals, and there may be some other extras as well.

This can definitely be considered purely a rumor, since we've seen no evidence to back it up (yet) - it was posted on the IGN boards. Supposedly, Sonic Team told a Japanese magazine that the GameCube SA port would have more improvements than SA2:Battle did.
Or at least, I think. Sonic Underground is being replaced by Sabrina the Animated Series on Teletoon. The last day of Underground will be... August 30th. Oddly, that day is the 3rd Anniversary of Sonic Underground in the US.
