I’ve been looking everywhere for the words to the theme from Sonic the Hedgehog CD, “Sonic Boom.” I can’t find them! Please, do you know where I can find them? Thanks a lot for your time.

Shadow, Eggman and Rouge Chao(if they exist)

How do you get Shadow, Rouge, and Eggman Chao? If any of them don’t exist, tell me! Please answer!

As stated before, the Shadow chao is a Dark-Running-Running chao. There are no Rouge or Eggman chao.

Say, I’ve noticed something: We’re pretty much all aware of Knuckles’s robotic replication Metal Knuckles, but what about the mech on Sonic Advanced? Is that a new or redone version of the original Metal Knuckles? He looks nothing like the old Metal. Or is this like the same concept of Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic? (Silver Knuckles?) Big fan awaiting your knowledge…

Search for the Lost Chao…

How do you complete the ‘find the lost Chao’ challenge on stage select in SA2: Battle? I reckon that you search for all the animals inone stage before you can find the lost Chao, but I’m not certain. Please help – dozens of emblems are at stake for you!!

A crying chao will be hidden somewhere in the stage… usually quite off the beaten path. Often, the shrines and the Mystic Melody are involved in getting to the hiding place, but not always. One you find the chao, you get the emblem; the animals have nothing to do with it. Your rank is determined by how fast you find it.

Hey, I heard of a code that if you get an all “A” rank on EVERY stage in SA2, stage select 2 would come up and you can be secret characters. I did get all “A”‘s but still no stage select 2! Am I doing something wrong or is this fake? P.S, i looked at the game index

This was answered already, but oh well.. Level Select 2 doesn’t exist. Sorry.

Sonic,Tails,and Knuckles chao

Hey SonicHQ!You’re the best site!How do you make a Sonic,Tails, and Knuckles chao?

Sonic Chao: raise a Neutral-Running-Running chao. It won’t look quite like Sonic when it first evolves, but if you keep giving it green drives and animals, its colours will change.
Tails Chao: you need Phantasy Star Online for this one. It’s obtained through the “Fake in Yellow” quest, and if you get the chao, you can download it to the Tiny Garden on Game Boy Advance, and then upload it to SA2B.
Knuckles Chao: so far, this one is only available as a special giveaway at shows in Japan.

Yes, in English. Omochao has a different VA from Rouge if using the Japanese voices. –True Red

i just got this comicof sonic# 71, the cover said “the stragest comic you’ll ever read.” when i saw this, i said to my self ” it probably means sonic is gonna fight inside someone or something.” when i read the comic, the comic didn’t make any sense! i can’t tell which way to read it!can you tell me how do i read this strage comic and how did sonic get the green eyes? i really need to know!

It was the backwards issue. For the main Sonic story to make sense, read pages 15-17 first, then page 14, then page 13, then pages 9-12, then page 8, then page 7, then pages 3-6, then page 2, and finally, page 1 in that order. –True Red

Mystic Melody

Where are Tails and Eggman’s Mystic Melody

Eggman’s Mystic Melody is in Sand Ocean, you take the first spinning platform, hover over to the far platform on the left. Make sure to take out the flying bomb beatle robot hovering over the platform before doing this.
Tails’ is in Hidden Base. A bit after the first checkpoint, you take a pulley up into an area full of Kiki monkeys. Just past that, there’s a second path below the regular one. Take the lower path and blow up the steel boxes (the bazooka upgrade is needed first).

1) When you told me that my chaos were supposed to evolve they won’t feeding rocking and petting won’t work.2)Where would you find the staircases to the Hero and Dark gardens(besides chao lobby)3)Why did Shadow turn good and then die?4)How can you find Shadow’s Acient Light?5)What do chaos look like when they reincarnate?

1. Firstly, the plural of chao is chao, not chaos. Anyway, your chao evolves at around age 1, which takes about three hours of in-garden time. It will go into a cocoon when it evolves.
2. They’re in the lobby only; they DON’T appear anywhere else. Again, you must have evolved a chao to Hero or Dark before the stairs appear; if it hasn’t gone into a cocoon yet, it hasn’t evolved.
3. If you paid attention to the story, you’d know.
4. It’s in Sky Rail, before the first checkpoint.
5. They look like baby chao. They may have kept some of their animal parts and start off slightly towards the alignment they had in their previous life. If it was a Dark chao prior, it’ll have evil eyes when reborn.

I’ve read somewhere that The Sonic Mega Collection includes the “lock-on technology” meaning you can play as Knucklles on Sonic 2&3, but I can’t please tell me why thanks.

Those are “secret” games that you have to unlock. How to unlock them was already answered previously so check the archives. –True Red

hero and dark garden trouble!

Have raised one hero and two dark chaos on the gamecube system but can not find either staircases to hero or dark gardens. Could you please HELP ME! Thanks!

The staircases are in the Chao World lobby. They only appear if the Hero/Dark chao actually evolved while in the garden; if you imported them from another memory card, that won’t unlock the new gardens.

I really need your help I am currently playing sonic 3 on my new gamecube. However i’m going nuts!!!! I am on the third level secend stage and i keep getting stuck on this bouncy spinning thing and i can’t go up or down. I really have no where to go because jaut as I get there a wall closes behind me and i can’t turn back. All i can do is bounce around and wait for my time to run out. I’m really going crazy please help me to get past this part what do I do????????? Tahnx Helpless in ONTARIO

Assuming it’s the same as on the Genesis, just press up/down and eventually the spinning thing will go down low enough for you to jump off of it unto the next part of the level. –True Red

Do I HAVE to give the heart fruit to a Chao before it can start breeding? and Do I have to give it to both Chao involved?

No and no. Chao go into mating season on their own around age 2-3, and if you do want to use heart fruit, you don’t have to give fruit to both chao. Keep in mind that if don’t like each other, they won’t mate.

What a minute….If this new Sonic Mega Pack for Gamecube has a bunch of Genesis games on them of Sonic, why is “Mean Bean Machine” and “Spinball” on it? I figured since those two are based off the cartoon and comic, they wouldn’t be in an official Sega game. Or is that Sega of America’s fault? After all, they DID screw up Tails’s age before…

It’s called “Mega Collection” because what was called the Genesis in the US was known as the Mega Drive elsewhere. It’s just a collection of all the Mega Drive games. That’s where the “Mega” part comes in. All Sonic games by Sega are official Sega games whether or not they follow Sonic Team’s storyline. –True Red

I herd you can make a cat chao. HOW!?!?!?!

The best you could do to make a cat chao would be to give it tigers or cheetahs. Those would give it either striped or spotted ears, paws and tail, and cause cat-like mannerisms. You could even try to get whiskers from a sea otter.

My Chao in SA2:B will eat like it’s starving everytime I give it a tree fruit. It won’t eat all of one, and it will never eat like if it wasn’t starving. I took him to the Chao Doctor and he’s fine. What’s wrong with it?

Some chao just eat more than others. It’s nothing important so long as they’re not being starved (in which case they might run after you, arms outstretched, if you’re holding food). Check its personality type with the Chao Docter; some chao are classified as being “Big Eaters”.
