“Bravehog”
Writer: Lew Stringer
Artist: Mick McMahon
Sonic rescues a stranger from some badniks and when the stranger asks him why he bothered to save someone he doesn’t know Sonic tells the story of Bravehog. Six hundred years ago all the tribes of Mobius lived in separate villages according to their species (E.g. Foxes only live with foxes, badgers only live with badgers, etc). A hyena called King Leer, who conquered other villages by burning them down, ruled the land. Taking over the other tribes was easy because no one would help someone who wasn’t the same species as them, except for the leader of the hedgehog tribe, Bravehog. When the fox tribe is attacked Bravehog goes to fight the hyenas off, but fails since none of the foxes will help him. But when Bravehog is about to receive his punishment the other tribes become inspired and start fighting back against the hyenas to set Bravehog free. From that day forward all the people of Mobius lived together. The stranger comments on how cool Bravehog must have been, to which Sonic replies, “It’s obvious who I take after”. Then the stranger shows that under the hood he is a hyena himself, but Sonic shakes his hand telling him he can’t help who his ancestors were.

Artist: Nigel Dobbyn
For breaking the seal of King Akotek Plunder receives a curse of misfortune and calamity. Zorabel confesses that she knew about the curse all along, which was why she had Plunder break the seal. But Plunder says he doesn’t believe in any of that anyway so they start taking the treasure away. But on the way off the island he falls down some steps, gets a pot stuck on his head, is almost crushed in a cave in and then almost sliced to bits by falling weapons, so he soon changes his mind. Zorabel decides it’s too risky to keep him on board so she puts him on a separate boat tied to the main ship.
“Zero Zone – Part Two”
Writer: Lew Stringer
Artist: Andy Pritchett
Sonic has been brainwashed into believing he is Citizen Seven, or at least he fools the others into thinking he has right until he accidentally gives the game away by asking a forbidden question. He tries to escape by using his spin attack against the zone’s force field causing the zone to go all fuzzy and Citizen One to reveal himself to be a computer program designed by Robotnik. Citizen One was given up on when Robotnik learned his desire was to create a happy zone, and the only reason he abducted the Mobians was because he was feeling lonely. Sonic tells him there are other ways to get Mobians to come to the zone without brainwashing them and the zone remodels itself into a carnival.

“A Christmas Wish”
Writer: Lew Stringer
Artist: Roberto Corona
Even though he’s still trapped in the Special Zone Sonic wants to make the most of the Christmas spirit. However elsewhere a young puppy called Richie is enjoying Christmas too much as his present of a super hero costume makes him think he can fly. It’s lucky for him that Charmy was passing to save him as he tries to jump out of his bedroom window, landing him in front of the Chaotix. Despite harsh words from Vector the kid still believes that he’s a super hero and charges towards a villain who was about to attack the Chaotix. Sonic shows up to save him when he realises he can’t fight the bad guy and by the time the enemy has been defeated Richie has gone away, upset that he’s not a hero. Sonic finds him, explaining there are much safer ways to be a hero then inviting him to come with them delivering presents to a children’s hospital. A better way to be a regular hero.

Artist: Richard Elson
Though the ship’s crew feel too scared to fight the mutated sharks Mr. Fry is straight into the battle, swinging on the ship’s sailcloth. As the battle commences Fry has the unfortunate luck to change back into Speckle who tries to sneak away from it all, leaving Captain Plunder to take out the sharks with a mallet. To celebrate defeating the sharks he orders Simpson to fetch some rum truffles, only to find that the crate is gone! Speckle decided to use it to make his big escape in.
“Season of Goodwill”
Writer: Lew Stringer
Artist: Andy Pritchett
Though most of the Emerald Hill residents are gone Tekno decides to enforce the Christmas cheer by throwing a party for the other Freedom Fighter in celebration for their hard work during Sonic’s leave. Optimistically Tails believes that even Robotnik couldn’t do anything bad on this day, though Shortfuse doubts that to be true. It turns out he’s right as Robotnik plans on frying the Mobians using a heat ray from his satellite. But before he can a mysterious figure appears claiming to be Father Christmas. Angered by this Robotnik calls his Troopers to attack him, but since they are machines they can’t see the Christmas spirit. Santa offers Robotnik the chance to redeem himself by using the self-destruct option on the satellite and when he refuses to an image appears on the screen of Shortfuse destroying it instead. Before leaving Santa warns Robotnik that if he continues on his current path his rein over Mobius will not last long, as a prelude to future comic event…

Inspired by the popular "Sonic Adventure" game for the hot Sega "Dreamcast" platform! When Nate Morgan uses his telecrate technology to infiltrate Dr. Robotnik’s computer network, he receives transmissions that send shivers down the Freedom Fighter’s spines: the dastardly Doc has ordered an excavation somewhere near the mysterious Cat Country – leading them to believe he may have found the Hidden City of the Ancients! Nate and The Freedom Fighters are immediately dispatched to quell the threat – all, that is, except for Amy Rose, who the others feel is too young. Amy is outraged – Tails is allowed to go on the mission, and he’s the same age as her! Will that stop her? Heck, no! Amy calls upon the powers of the Ring of Acorns to make herself older – transforming herself into her "Dreamcast" counterpart, and depleting the ring of all its energy in the process! The price is a harsh one, as the ring has been used in the service of healing the Queen. Fearing ill effects, Nate insists Amy comes along on the mission with them. Can they survive Amy’s amazing transformation? For that matter, can Amy?! It’s a journey of discovery that will lead our fearless heroes to the startling new world depicted in the Sonic Adventure Dreamcast game!
